In alt mode, pressing the shutter just starts the script. You should just click it it, no need to hold down for any length of time.
Ok I quickly tapped the button and got the same results
It would be good to hear from other sx150 users if they are able to run the intervalometer script (or ubtest.bast) with the current autobuild.

I agree that way I know if it my camera or a chdk for sx150is glitch
It seems like this would have been reported before if it always happened
Or maybe no one tested a script yet or no one got to reporting it yet.

There have really only been two active developers posting here - sgtrum and hiker_jon.   And sgtrum has not been online for six weeks now.  I posted a link on box.com to his version back in mid-November and there have been 18 downloads since then.  So there should be a few people who have tried some of this out.

You know what there is nothing stopping me from downloading the source code of chdk and trying to fix it myself and posting what I did if I was able to fix.I will work on that.

There was a great sale on the sx230hs and I still had time to return the sx150is so I decided that the sx230 is way better than than the sx150is (less bulky more zoom and gps) so I will not be working on the sx150is anymore once the sx230hs comes to best buy (they did not have any left) I will have a better camera so I will not be working on the sx150 anymore

Can't really argue with you.  I'd buy an sx230hs just for the GPS functionality.

Never mind a $36 GPS that tags your photos.  CHDK will put the GPS data into its DNG files too.   All you need now is a scripting interface that lets you change what the camera does based on where it thinks it is !

That would be cool gps data in my dng files. So what kinds of things could it do based on where it thinks it is?
