Hi everyone,
I am a newbie of camera and CHDK, I had used Albest's build 37 on my A650 to take some pictures with the AV mode. The shown EXIF makes me a lot of doubt.

For the 1st group, same object, same distance, same light source,
Override shutter speed (0), Value factor (OFF)
Override aperture (16, 11, 8, 5.6, respectively)
Override ISO value (1), Value factor (100)
EXIF come out as
F16, 1/6 sec, ISO 151
F11, 1/17 sec, ISO151
F8, 1/17 sec, ISO 151
F5.7, 1/17 sec, ISO 151

For the 2nd group, same object, same distance, same light source,
ISO was set to 100 before using CHDK,
Override shutter speed (0), Value factor (OFF)
Override aperture (16, 11, 5.6, respectively)
Override ISO value (0), Value factor (OFF)
EXIF come out as
F16, 1/4 sec, ISO 100
F11, 1/4 sec, ISO100
F5.7, 1/4 sec, ISO 100

As we see that the shutter speed has no change respectively.
Therefore, I would like to ask that does CHDK fully support the AV mode?
If yes, what was wrong in my setting?
Please kindly help out, thanks.

Thanks Barney for the quick reply.
I will try to test the longest zoom setting asap.

Hi Barney,
I just tried 9.3X and 24X which the longest zoom I can get from my A650. Those focal lengths are 44.4mm, but those shutter speed have shown no change in the EXIF accordingly.:'(

3rd group: 9.3X  in AV mode
Override shutter speed (0), Value factor (OFF)
Override aperture (16, 11, 8, 5.6)
Override ISO value (1), Value Factor (100)
EXIF come out as
F16, 1/1 sec, ISO 151, Max aperture F4.81, Focal length 44.4mm
F11, 1/1 sec, ISO 151, Max aperture F4.81, Focal length 44.4mm
F8, 1/1 sec, ISO 151, Max aperture F4.81, Focal length 44.4mm
F5.7, 1/1 sec, ISO 151, Max aperture F4.81, Focal length 44.4mm

4th group: 24X in AV mode
Override shutter speed (0), Value factor (OFF)
Override aperture (16, 11, 8, 5.6)
Override ISO value (1), Value Factor (100)
EXIF come out as
F16, 1/1 sec, ISO 168, Max aperture F4.81, Focal length 44.4mm
F11, 1/2 sec, ISO 151, Max aperture F4.81, Focal length 44.4mm
F8, 1/2 sec, ISO 151, Max aperture F4.81, Focal length 44.4mm

Do not forget that the camera does not increase shutter speed over 1s in Av mode. So, you could faced with boundary conditions.
