yes,u have to make it bootable, and to make it load when your prepare card and copy the diskboot.bin and chdk folder to the card you have to put sdcard in lock mode to boot into chdk, dont worry, it will still be writeable during chdk even though its locked.

make sure your using the correct firmware version as well, so far I have ported 100a and 100d, I just recieved dump for 100c which i will port most likely tomorrow, I am homeschooling my daughter so time is scarce, but it should only take a bit to port it once i start.

that was it.. i put the SD card back in my reader to my pc.. opened cardtricks.. hit  'make bootable' and that was it.. only step i missed.. tried the intervalometer and it works :)

Thanks again for all your hard work :)

Update for anyone interested in using Face button to enter Alt mode instead of Disp+Set.

Use long press to use Face button in normal way for camera.

Also updated the color palette to fix up play mode colors.

Colors not tested for 100C and 100D yet, but should be the same.

Dont forget to delete the CFG file in the CHDK folder on SDCARD for color palette to work right.
