Hi! i'm a new user, whit a powershot S5is
So i've tried to use timelapse script, and works very good.
But after 20 minutes my battery  (fully charged) was off and the camera shutdown off course.
Is there any option to shutdown automatically the camera during timelapse and re-boot  to make the other shot and shotdown again etc etc.?
This for safe my battery, cause my camera cant stay on for all the day :(
i've used rechargable battery, maybe this in the problem, but a standard not-rechargable battery can't keep open my camera for 1 day?
So is there any other option to permit to safe power during timelapse?

Unfortunately, no. 

Another other option is as external power supply like the Canon CA-PS700 Compact Power Adapter.  Or a cheaper 3rd party supply like  : http://www.amazon.com/HQRP-Adapter-Supply-PowerShot-Digital/dp/B001RMHAR6/ref=pd_bxgy_p_text_b

thank you , it's a possible solution,
but now i'm search for something to safe power outside home (or a eletric power spin)
i hope in intervallometer script

Another choice might be to build an external battery pack.  There are several posts on the forum about this - it all depends on your skills at building things.  Here's a few examples - the Hotwire! Hardware Mods, Accessories and Insights Board is a good place to look.
