What does 1/10/100/1000 while using zoom_in/out in CHDK menu stand for?

When I open CHDK menu being in ALT mode and use zoom_in/zoom_out levar a small +/-(number) appears in the left top corner of the screen, where nomber is 1/10/100 or 1000. Whad does it stand for?

I thought it's for faster change some parameters, such as TV override and others numeric parameters, but doesn't seem to work this way.

Using sx130is 1.01c.

This should be the task. Normally you can change the step width for numeric inputs. Check the function again with other menu entries.

Seems to be working with ISO and video quality and scripts parameters.

Doesn't with:
-exposure time (neither Ev Step nor Factor)
-focus (mm).

Other settings not tested.
