I have been using CHDK for about a year and a half on A630, A640, and A650 cameras. Recently, I have been doing a lot of video, and noticed that the A650 seems to have a file size limit of 4GB, while the A630 seems to have a file size limit of 2GB.
On both cameras, I am using a 16GB card, partitioned with a large (14 GB) CHDK partition, and a small (2GB) Fat16 partition.
So, my questions are:
1: Is anyone using an A630 getting 4GB file sizes out of video instead of 2GB?
2: If the A630 has a 2GB limit, is this because of the Digic II processor instead of the Digic III in the A650?
3: Is there a table somewhere that lists file size limits on all the cameras?
4: Is this info already published someplace where I should have already discovered it? I have looked around the forums quite a bit already.
Thanks!
