Sooooooo, I bought my new shiny camera and I love it. BUT actually, it's my second camera. My old lovely lady was the PowerShot S200 Digital ELPH: an old 2MP (don't know about the zoom: it says 5.4-10.8 mm thou).

Yesterday I decided that I have to the thing that I love the most: rip things apart. What for? NO IDEA but I love it. I went as far as I can. Now she lays in a bag, in the corner of my room.

So, if you are curious about how a really old camera looks like, here is the link

Please, let me know what do you thing about it  :lol

You could have turn it into a infrared camera, removing the IR filter infront of the sensor. But may be your camera doesn't have one, it is too old.

Nice pictures, but I was hopeing to see the sensor.

should be directly behind the lens,
(a sensor should be located there otherwise it would be a bit bad, as it wouldn't capture any light ...)
But hey, I'm also very excited about and interested in your pictures!
Let's have a look at the sensor!

MFG, oops german, jetzt

This is after removing the "sensor holder" (names please?)

This is the first view of the sensor

this thing was just next to the "hole" where the sensor is (see pic 2), no idea what is that for...

"Sensor Holder":
Front

Back

and this is a glass that was right before the sensor, it has a blueish tone...no clue why...

okay, now put it back together to see if how the pictures look without IR filter :P

I wonder, if its possible to remove the ir filter, without destroying the camera...
