tried the procedure suggested by water wings and continue to just get a repeat of the base exposure.

Update

I have noticed that the second exposure changes correctly, but that subsequent exposures are the same as the second one

New discovery !   I now have USB remote bracketing working on all three of my cameras.

To get the A1200 to work properly,  I had to go into the Canon shooting menu and disable the "Servo AF" function.  Apparently this affects other cameras too -  when the camera refocusses it resets the override function.   Once I disabled that feature, everything started working.

Have tried all advice. I checked AF and it was already disabled.

I tried again just now (BTW I am in New Mexico) and I get the same result.

I wonder if it is just the time delay between frames.

To test this would it be possible to add a user defined delay, to suit each user?

Cheers

Garry

There is a really comprehensive debug display for USB remote debugging but its a build option.  If you tell me which camera and firmware version you are testing with I can send you a build and some instructions on what to look for.

Which firmware version ?  100e 100h 100i or 100k ?

This is the debug display that will appear when the USB remote is enabled. The tmo=0 value is the timeout timer. Its now set for 10 seconds rather than 5.   The b=0 value should count up with each shot when you are in shooting with USB bracketing and reset to 0 when the timeout occurs.  Other stuff will dance around - some obvious and some not so - but those are the two important ones.

Dear 'waterwingz'

I have tried the download and can clearly see the count down, so I use the remote before the time out, and can see the b counter keeping track of the remote pushes.

But no changes in Ev.

Switch shows ca-1, logic shows bracket, sync shows no and mode = 1.

I'm at a lose.

Cheers

Garry
