Improvements from changeset 1421 are good things - thx!

But moving the menu title to the left side is not so good. I found it better centered - my personal opinion. If left then with the same margin as the menu items - 8 px and not 4 px. Symbols and menu title/entries should be in the same row.

I just noticed the changes.  What is the "incrementor" thing on the right hand side of the menu title bar.  I've never seen it before - what does it do ?

The first reference I can find to it is here :  http://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=650.msg75969#msg75969  but maybe its been in CHDK all along ?  Although I loaded an older build and it wasn't there.  What did I miss ?

This is a nice function for stepwidth of inputs. You can change the stepwidth with zoom lever. E.g. try focus distance input 50,000. With this function you only need 9 click steps.

The old function was only seen in top left corner of the LCD when you use the zoom lever. And there was a conflict with the ERASE_GUARD.

Very nice.  Knowing that earlier could have saved some wear on my keyboard.   Maybe time to go back and reread the manuals myself.

At some point I want to figure out how to use the User Menu stuff anyway.

I think most of people do not read manual. Personally I too. :) Moreover this feature is absent in manual.

I catch it like some other non-intuitive things (like left to exit from popup) during investigation code in scope my own improvements of GUI. And looking to its status noone use before this helpful function. :)

I kind of liked it in the middle as well; but with some of the long menu names the right hand side got overwritten by the incrementor display.

I initially had the symbols aligned in the title and menu items; but felt the slight offset to the left looked better.

If people really want the centered menu title then it should be possible to center the title between the left edge and the incrementor display - this was more changes to the code so I went with the simpler option :)

Ok, that makes sense for a new alignment.

Now is the question with or without offset. :)

I have integrated it into CHDK-DE without offset. Let's see how the reactions are (or not).
