KAP Set Up: Interval Timer, with exp. brk and focus at infinity

Looking to use CHDK for KAP (Kite Aerial Photography).  Basically stick a camera on a kite and take pictures.  Can't be up there to push buttons....so......   Need to program the camera to do the following:
 - fix focus at infinity (no auto focus)
 - turn on image stabilization
 - take a picture every 5 to 30 seconds (programmable) till the battery dies or you turn it off
 - auto exposure bracket each shot -1, 0, +1
 - save files as JPEG or RAW (SD or SDHC)
 - option to select AP or SP

Looking to stick this in the lightest camera (200g max) that I can find.

maybe you can provide some sample photos here?
nice idea :) how many cameras did you break by flying them and landing them yet? :D
about the fast battery drainages: did you make sure to disable the LCD screen? the screen chews up a tremendous amount of energy.
good luck with the pictures, hope to see some good ones linked up here ;)

phyrephox,

Lots of progress.  Yes I did break 1 camera (Nikon 5s) dumped it into the Irish Sea!  As for the battery consumption....all fixed.  See update script under the "completed scripts" page.  Put together simple low power consumption mode and now can shoot over 1300 pictures on one charge.

As for pictures.    Lots of them are available on flicker.   Use the following link:

Enjoy
