Is it possible to recognize a video in playback mode

and is it possible to recognize that the video is playing, or is in the video play/edit menu in playback mode.

Hi David,
I looked at the code, but it seems to me to apply to record mode only.  I want to find out if there is a video showing or playing in play mode.
