Hi,

this is Canon-related:

There's no date/timestamp ihn lower right picture in videos included, even though it is displayed while recording video (as overlay?). How can I embed it inside the video, is it possible?

Can the timestamp in videos be embedded with CHDK-Firmware? I did not find an option to do so.
Any assistance would be .

I don't know about Canon, but about CHDK:

AFAIK at the moment CHDK doesn't support this feature. And I'm not sure if anybody works on it. This would require modifications in video buffers in real time.

This could be done in a kind of video editor on computer, but this not a convinient solution...
