hi,
Iam badly in need of this feature,"The ability to take a picture, or start a program on the memory card, by sending a signal in to the USB port".In the Wiki page CHDK in Brief - CHDK Wiki

under "quick answers to seven questions" point no:5 they have given that CHDK is able to achive "The ability to take a picture, or start a program on the memory card, by sending a signal in to the USB port"

But iam not able to find exactly this feature in CHDK.Please provide the link for this feature and also guide me how to make the camera do this task.

Any info on this feature will be helpful to me......

Hello.

I'm experiencing some problems with getting remote shutter release to work and wondered if anyone could help please...

I've got the script enabled (dot in the correct box) under scripting parameters but when I press my release button, nothing happens. If I turn off the script and go out of the alt menu, when I press the button there is a click and the last image I took gets shown, but no pic is taken.

Any help gratefully received!

Thanks.

Problem now solved. I hadn't realised I needed to press the shutter to run the script before the remote release would work.
