That's good - can you also post the loader file ?

I took a few minutes to submit ac.n1bs's port as a patch files for the dev & stable versions of the svn.  I marked them as not for inclusion in the autobuild as they are not complete (per this thread).  However,  I would be interested to know if they will load and run.  Here's the links to the exectubles if somebody has time to test and post results :

i have download the file a2100-100a-1.0.0-full-stable.zip but in the zip file there isn't the file PS.FI2 needed for update the firmware in my camera.

Well, technically loading CHDK on your camera does not update the firmware as CHDK makes no permanent changes to your camera.   But you can use the camera's firmware update function to load a CHDK ps.fi2 file - it just goes into the cameras RAM memory and does not change the NVRAM.

However,  the beta versions for the A2100 that I posted do not include ps.fi2 files.  You need to load CHDK using the SD card lock booting method.

Hello ac.n1bs,

after taking quite a lot of pictures with your CHDK version I encountered no problems at all. Great work!!!

Thanks for that! Nice to hear that it's useful.

Unfortunately I still don't have time to finish video recording, so let's hope someone else will be able.

Greetings from the newbie to all the people aboard this amazeing project!

The ("stable") link from msg82675 appears dead to me. Anyone up to post something new or do I have to learn how to cross-compile?..

It's close to one and a half year since the last post in this thread. Any news on the status on "my" port that I'd want to know? Is there progress on the road to official support for the PowerShot A2100 IS?
I just got myself one of those - and I'd be glad to help testing and of course use CHDK on my machine if it's not too hard.
