"Hot" pixels - awful pictire...

With lens cap or what? And about the shooting interval?
I think this bring us back to the auto_caps_on_shooting_function...

More details about that pictures...
Camera A610. Without CHDK. Shutter speed was 1s (so, no dark frame subtraction). Manual mode. Shots were made in dark room with lens closed by a cap. All 8 shots were taken within 40sec interval.
Post processed in Photoshop (only levels: 0-4.50-127).
CHDK Developer.

Perhaps I'm wrong, but... is it correct to think that the caps on feature is still absent in CHDK because no one really needs it?
I mean, these threads didn't go very far indeed:

   Darkframe noise reduction
   long exposure- noise reduction = amp glow
