Cannot load CHDK on SX120IS

Dear all,

I'm a newbie on the CHDK forum (this is my first post). I discovered CHDK a few days ago and I'm amazed at the possibilities and the hard free work done by you developers!
I have 2 Canon compacts, an IXUS 120 IS (SD940IS) and an SX120IS. CHDK booted seamlessly on the IXUS120IS but not on the SX120IS. There is only one beta version of CHDK for the SX120IS (sx120is-100b-1.0.0-1571-full_BETA.zip) corresponding to the firmware 1.00B of my camera. When using the "Firmware update" option, the camera shuts down and nothing happens.
Has somebody already encountered the same issue with this model or an other one?

Thanks outslider!

I found it works by activating the on/off button (not the shutter release) when the LCD blacks out. But  I wouldn't have had the idea without your help!
Another "specialty" of the CHDK for SX120IS: the <alt> appears by activating the "face detection" button... Ist it the same for the next models (SX130IS, SX150IS)?
