use a camera as spot meter

hi,

would it be possible to use a camera with chdk as a spot exposure meter
for another analogue camera in the sense that i set it to spot metering mode
zoom full (to have a small spot) and print a table of aperture and exposure
speed values rounded to the usual times based on the actually measured
exposure when the shutter release is half pressed? (the two last entries
might be useful for pinhole cameras)

sample table for a given exposure:

 1.4   1000        11      15
 2.0     500        16       8
 2.8     250        22       4
 4.0     125        32       2
 5.6       60       128      8"
 8.0       30       256     32"

would something like this have to be coded or can it be done as script?

a lot of thanks in advance and best wishes - image13
