Here is a new beta-port based on the old build and the last allbest-fingalo release.

Many parameters are fixed.

Video, USB and autoboot should work.
Display now shows the right zoom-values.

Hej,
Well I can confirm now the zoom value are right (up to 140mm) and the auto load works.
I noticed a more longer time at statup (more than with the "very-beta" I had used before I think, hadn't noticed that before).

I tryed and played for the shutter overrides but I assumed they arn't supposed to work yet ? Or am I stupid and I didn't find how-to ? ^^

Didn't notice anything else, thank you for working on it !

Have you switched to manual mode?
Shutter overide only works in manual mode.

The original Canon OSD doesn't show the overide values.

Hej,
I had searched a bit the wiki but didn't find anything else, but I knew that it wasn't showing for exemple 64s as the speed.

Well seems I managed to increase it now, seems it just doesn't work when I set Ev type to 64.

hi,

thanks a lot for the source - it helped me to
get usb remote working on the a530 as well

just in case you are interested, i updated
your sources to trunk 336 and prepared
things, so that they might get submitted into
trunk as well - i compiled some binaries
from those 336 sources and they worked
fine in the 1.00b a540 of a friend

the sources, diff and binaries can be found at

  a540-336.zip - 0.24MB

just realized, that the a540 port had the same
file numbering bug as the a530 port - fixed it
now - new version is at

  a540-336-new.zip - 0.02MB

just fyi: the a540 port is now in the trunk, i.e. you
should be able to find the latest fresh binaries as
part of grands great new autobuild at
