A495 camera will not switch on when SD card set to lock

I have two A495. With one of them I have got the chdk to produce a fast shutter speed AND am able to use RAW. With the other A495 USING THE SAME SD CARD the camerawill not switch on.
Any ideas please?

Did you confirm that both cameras have the same firmware version ?  You need  the corrent version of CHDK for each firmware version.

 :)Waterwingz - Thank you SO much for sorting me out (I DO need sorting out in other ways but seeing as I am 76 years young I am a hopeless case! ::))
After some difficulty I found the version (e) instead of (f), loaded it and it works great!. I want the cameras for aerial photography on my RC flying machines.
