Canon Powershot Elph 300 HS chdk help

I am new here, this is my first post. I registered to get the latest new for the elph 300 hs and also because i need some help. I have chdk 1.01c installed but i want to know how to use chdk to refocus while recording.


Like this guy did
canon ixus 100 is manual focus with CHDK

It would be Sweet to have Auto focus in video mode  :)

but like all VIDEO wishes , needs or options it will not get looked into   :(

im not to shure on what your saying here   :blink:

We are talking VIDEO Rec. mode.
It locks the Focus then starts to record.
Auto focus while recording i feel would be a "normal" funtion .

Page 23 of the English language manual. It's the explanation of movie recording in auto mode. According to the screenshot there, you should get a "+/- Start Tracking AF" on your LCD.

it Does auto focus....
But its VERY slow on doing so....
