Hi, All:

I found a software can adjust AF/AE/shutter counter for EOS series dslr.please check this url:

I tried demo version on 50D, it worked, but maybe it can be hacked to accomodate with other models.
It's a very cool software.

Hi, I modified demo version a bit and capture on usb port.
Here is the 450d exchange message.

It seems this software change camera to DCP mode, the steps are:

1. call settuningflag
2. call FA_setusbtodcpmode

but I don't find FA_setusbtodcpmode in firmware, maybe demo version does not support 450d, or I  need a special firmware version :(

Hi all, was anyone successful connecting this software to a camera? I would be interested in reverse-engineering the protocol for AF-adjustment of EOS 450D.

I was looking for a solution for this back-focusing issue in my Canon 60D and came through the forum.

If anybody could come through any method without opening the camera please let me know.
