Does CHDK remove the one second limit in AV?

Hi there,

I was wondering if after using CHDK, does it remove the 1 second shutter speed limit when using AV mode. And also when using bracketing in AV mode. so for example its possible to shoot at F8 and to expose correctly the camera would have to choose a 4" second shutter speed. cause now its limited to 1" always.

Thanks

No, and Yes.
No: It does not directly change the working of AV mode
Yes: you can find workarounds.

For example, about bracketing:  You can activate a "bracketing in continuous mode" (for example, +/-2 EV) and then shot in continuous mode. you will have shots (as many as you want as long as you press the shutter) at 0, 2, -2, 4, -4 ....
