Request:  Add 720p video recording mode if the existing camera does not have it.

My PS S80 can shoot in 1080i at 15fps but would prefer 720p at 30fps if the digic processor can handle the load.

The S70 is a digic 1 camera. CHDK will never run on these cameras, see http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/Unsupported_Cameras

There were some other hacks for these cameras, you can find information on that page.

This was a general request but my Powershot S80 is what I mentioned in the feature request message, not for the PS S70.
Since my PS 80 is a Digic 2 processor, and capable of 1080i at 15fps, I was wishing for the 720p at 30 fps resolution.  Would be even better if the new feature could change the 15fps to 30fps at 1080i.

Sorry, I must have confused that with one of your other requests for s70.

In any case, this has been requested many times, and so far no one has figured out how to do it.
