video problems with chdk and sx20, without exmem

Been a while since i have posted last....

last time i had been trying to experiment with chdk in exmem for the sx20 1.02d

it never would work properly...kept video from working properly...

ever since then though, even without loading chdk into exmem, it still often doesn't record video properly
....starts and then stops after a few seconds. 

the camera works perfectly without chdk though....just wanted to report that....haven't seen any posts regarding the sx20 in a long time....any development for it had came to an end i do believe.

If you have (perhaps accidentally) set the compression override too high, that might cause the problem you've described.

Meaning the override is set to "default" ?

Does recording just stop, or does the camera shut down ? Does it display anything unusual on the screen ? Some video related issues will trigger a red ! icon or similar.

everything is default, it just stops recording after 1 sec.

Philmoz will remember this issue, as he was trying to help when i was testing this cam with the exmem.

I get the buffer bar (manual says it is when the memory buffer for video recording gets filled and cannot continue)...

but not using exmem anymore....

I've cleared and format sd card, tested its read/writes speed and it is up to the task for sure (class 10),
so not sure why chdk is doing this to me.

using latest release 1-0

video functions work perfectly with out chdk loaded at all.
