Hi,

Have never used CHDK on Any Canon DSLR.  Would like to get a used Canon DSLR that will be able to use CHDK for both stills and video.

Did some forum searching and found 400D but it does not seem to do video (no live view).  The 450D has live view and does seem to but no mic.

The 500D seems to be designed for video. http://www.dpreview.com/products/canon/slrs/canon_eos500d

Am wondering if best to go with a newer model? Like 1100D http://www.dpreview.com/products/canon/slrs/canon_eos1100d or 600D http://www.dpreview.com/products/canon/slrs/canon_eos600d ?

Would be interested in any comments from anyone who has tried CHDK on these or any Canon DSLRs.
