Yes. I improved my script and also added the option to set the neutral exposure manually until I figure out how to calculate it properly.

On my camera I must call the function named "CancelAdjCdsMode" to return the camera in normal AE after CDSGain or it remains stuck at a certain iso.

I didn't do much. I tried to use the values from the props Bv,Sv,Tv,Av for calculations but it didn't work well.

Yes but on your A570, where (memory location) did you monitor the override ISO value ?
Also, where (memory location) did you monitor the actual gain value ?
I am not seeing a Canon-set gain value unless I set one.
I am setting 0x105070+4 to a gain value and calling 0xFFB5B740 with no parameters.

I am running out of time, tomorrow I will test the Panasonic FZ38 I bought some time ago for this application.

There are many 'creative' modes for movies, you can set shutter speed from 1/30 to 1/20,000 sec (!).
Also, there is the option of MJPEG encoding which will give better quality for extracted frames.

For s95 you can monitor cdsgain at 0xA798 or 0xA798+0x8 I guess. Found in sub_FFA7F754.

I uploaded my new lua script on the first post. Now I'm using a cds_gain ram address(0xBB08) to get the initial sv value and a noname prop 269 for initial shutter speed value. It appears to be working right.
