... and a last question ;)

on the a530 port it looks like there is something
wrong with the focus and iso bracketing - if i set
one of them and shoot in continuous mode the
camera hangs with a blank screen and i have to
remove the batteries ... exposure time bracketing
works fine

any hint where i might start to search? looks like
the iso and focus overwrite does not work proerly

one more a lot of thanks in advance - image13

hi,

as i said: exposure time bracketing works, but focus and iso
bracketing not - i think something is most probably wrong
with the iso and focus overwrite ... nobody haveing a pointer
or idea for me on how to debug this? is there anywhere some
deeper documentation available about the code other than
what is written in the wiki?

a lot of thanks in advance and best wishes - image13

Overriding is little bit different form bracketing  ;)

however it's strange your cam go in block...do cam switch off also in iso and focus overriding?

I don't think  :( I understand you, I'm porting my a550...but this forum and people in it are very helpful!  :D

mhhh...you can see this hierachy function call (for iso bracketing):

Code: [Select]
shooting_iso_bracketing() -> shooting_set_iso_real(short iso, short is_now) -> shooting_set_sv96(short sv96, short is_now) -> shooting_set_iso_mode(int v)
all in /generic/shooting.c

this is an old trunk, i'm not sure is too equal...sorry!

see also property case in include/platform.h (PROPCASE_ISO_MODE)

...and ISOTable in a530/shooting.c

sorry...if I'm not be helpful  :( ...you have to do much debug

good luck!

a530: iso and focus overwrite not working

i just checked: looks like focus and iso overwrite does not
work on the a530 - exposure overwrite and nd-filter switching
works however.

what might be the reason for iso and focus overwrite not
working - i assume some wrong address somewhere?

a lot of thanks in advance and best wishes - image13
