Waterwingz,  I believe you were working from the code from ptpcam gui,
Nope - not me.  But maybe msl will pass this on to its authors?

Well, I found out I can't register my SX260 with the libusb driver, because I am using Windows 8, 64bit, which will not allow unsigned drivers, unless someone knows of a way that I have been unable to find.

Please don't post the same message in multiple threads.

Your solution worked fine.  I will no longer post the same message in different threads, I was trying to make sure it got to others, like me, who wanted to know, but it appears that's not needed.

Thanks!

The problem with doing that is sometimes you get people trying to answer in both threads and things get confusing very fast.

Hi,
Could any sx260/sx240 user check if prop 91 is the DIGITAL_ZOOM_MODE?

1) Enable Propcase Page 9
Miscellaneus Stuff -> Debug Parameters ->
Debug Data Display             [Props]
PropCase/ParamsData Page [9]

2) Change Digital zoom mode in Canon Menu and see if prop 91 changes:
0 = Standard/Off , ?=1.5x  ?=2.0x

I'm asking this because I'm trying to solve this bug: Can't adjust zoom after set_zoom()

Thanks

These are the non-zero propcases on that page for each mode:
Code: [Select]
    Off  1.5  2.0  Standard
91    0    2    3    0
92 4000 2592 2048 4000
94    0    0    0    1
95    0    2    3    0

Hi all,

Does focus (aka subject distance) bracketing work for anyone on the SX260?  I get an instant crash any time I try to use it.  I set manual focus (no bracketing is done otherwise), set up subj distance bracketing, and press shutter button.  Camera appears to crash just after taking the first photo - presumably while trying to adjust focus.

If this is a bug, rather than me doing something incorrectly, it would be great if someone would be kind enough to look into it.  I can provide crash dumps or whatever else is helpful.  It would be really nice to be able to do focus bracketing on the camera.

Thanks in advance

I have found that bracked modes only work on the SX240HS when you disable "Review mode" (which I had on "Hold") in the Canon menu.
