You own a SX260. Feel free and add the camera features by yourself. The sense of wikipedia is that many take part. Read the instructions and start a SX260 entry.

Hey all!
I've got SX260 HS with a new firmware. It seems that builds for 1.00b, 1.00c doesn't work with it. I've dumped firmware with that funny Canon dump script. First some info:

Dump looks good, but the version inside is 1.01A, not 1.00a. I ran it through the sig finder and many addresses are changed so a new sub port will definitely be required.


edit:
Since I initially thought it was going to be 100a and sx240 100c was compatible with sx260 100c, I also compared it with sx240 100a. It's definitely not compatible.

@nafraf that would be cool, sure I can test it as long as you promise to not break my camera by purpose  ;)
P.S. Sorry for late response but I was moving from USA back to Poland and now I'm on holidays in Barcelona so I was busy!

Don't worry I won't try to do that.  But read the FAQ first. :)
