I just tried CHDK (both stable and development) on a SX240HS 100c, but I'm wondering if there is any development on the port?

Everything (menus, OSD) flickers a lot. Any idea what could cause this? Some canon menu items draw over the CHDK menu. For instance, the Canon's "fucus tracking" rectangle, when moving, actually draws over any CHDK item, including the main menu.

I discovered the bracketed modes (any mode), and in general user scripts, don't work if the "Review mode" is set to anything except "Off". The review will cause scripts to stop. Maybe it's possible to disable the review automatically before starting the scripts/bracketed shots?

I'm also puzzled by the fact that DNG is broken in auto mode (but works for others).
Any pointer in what could cause this?

If you can help with test, and report... I can send you a version with some minor changes: new loader, move function in platform/sx240hs/sub/100c/kbd.c to platform/sx240hs/kbd.c, source code cleanup maybe?.

It is a common question, that problem affects several cameras, but it remains without solution http://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=8450.msg96390#msg96390

It is a known bug, but I think that no one is working on its solution. http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/SX240

Unfortunately I don't have really a lot of time to play with the firmware, but it felt odd that "Auto" doesn't work like the other modes.

What about the bracketed modes/scripts and the issue with the "Review" function?
Would it be possible for chdk to disable review when doing bracketed shots or running scripts, without having to disable the review entirely? (if I'm doing normal shots I'm using review quite a lot).

Hi, is there a way to control video in manual mode with chdk (iso, shutter and aperture)? Thanks.

It's possible with a script. But the script is very experimental: http://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=5295.0

Try this version: http://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=5295.msg68622#msg68622

This version might work for your camera. You need CHDK version 1.2. Activate  "Native Calls" in submenu "Miscellaneous stuff".

Is it possible underexpose or overexpose video in any way on sx240? It would be good also lock exposure before filming, possible?
