I tried "no video limit" function, but it doesn't work...could you try it? Thanks.

Does camera crash?  If yes, Could you post the ROMLOG.LOG file?

sx260 and sx240 are essentially the same port. "No time limit" was tested in sx260 100b here, bug solved here

What is the firmware version of your camera?

I thought "no video limit" in menu was to record more files of 4gb.
The "no video limit" menu item removes the time limit on videos on some cameras.  However, the 4G file size limit is still there as the FAT16 & FAT32 filesystem formats do not support files larger than 4G.  If your camera will work with exFAT then you can have larger sizes,  but you will have to load CHDK with the "firmware update" method.

Although exFAT supports larger files, the camera's specification still mentions the 4GB file size limit for movies. If the size limit is not found/patched (which is likely), recording will stop at 4GB, no matter which file system is on the card.

I just got my 240sx today, firmware 101a, and i'd love to join the testing, so if someone can drop a link for the latest alpha, that would be great.

Also, just wanna say thanks to everyone who is putting their time effort and knowledge into this.
