Canon SX 220 HS I cant found firmware update in the menu

Thanks a lot to the people who make this forum possible .
I am trying to install the chdk in  the canon sx220hs  wich is a camera almost like the SX230 HS.
I managed to find the version of the camera.
I downloaded the software.
It does happen that in the menu I cannot find the option to update the firmware.
Does anyone know if such option does exist in the  SX 220 ?
I  searched  the manual and I could not find anything about it.
Thanks a lot for your help.

When i press the menu , here are the options I find.

(beginning menu )

Playback Functions :

slideshow.
erase
protect
rotate
favorites.
My category
i-contrast
Red eye Correction
Trimming
Resize
My colors
Scroll Display
Group Images
Auto Rotate
Resume
Transition

Print Menu

select images and Qty
Select Range
Select all images
Clear all selections.
Print Settings

Settings.

mute
Volume
Sound Options
Hints and Tips
LCD Brightness.
Start Up image
Format
File Numbering.
Create Folder.
Lens Retract
Power Saving
Time Zone
Date time
Units
Video System
CTRL Via HDMI
Language
Reset All.

PS : Where is the damn option to firmware update ?
( That is needed to load the CHDK software ?)

Might it be possible that Canon did delete this option from the latest firmare ? I have firmware 101c .  :o

Copy all files from zip file to the SD card, especially ps.fi2 for firm update start.

When you are a Mac user, read this: http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/FAQ/Mac#Still_Having_Trouble.3F

Switch on the camera with the play button [>], not with ON/OFF key and search for the menu entry "firm update".

The RAW part: http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/CHDK_User_Manual#RAW_Parameters

Enable RAW and DNG. When you enable DNG the first time, CHDK says, you need the file badpixel.bin. Use the menu entry in RAW menu for badpixel.bin creation.

The button for the CHDK <ALT> mode is the play button!
