It should be possible, but it may be some (maybe also a lot ?) work to program such a feature...
Since only a few cameras have a swivel display, i guess it's quite unlikely somebody will code such a feature  :(

I have the same problem on my G12 when the display is open and rotated forward.

The flashlight also does strange things when enabled. It does not cover the whole screen in white, this only occurs on the photo mode and not in the review mode.

Turn off 'Reverse Disp.' in the 1st Canon shooting menu.

Thanks, works now.

Wondering why it causes problems though. I see it doesn't have a property case so I don't know how it would be detected that it is on.
