My subject appears to be much further on raw than on JPG (see pictures).

I would like to correct this and achieve the same distance. If someone can help me with this please -- I searched forums first but saw no similar topics.

Thanks all!!!

If you have used any kind of digital zoom it is normal and unchangable. RAW shows what the exactly is on the sensor - without any corrections that are done further by Canon firmware. This includes:

- digital zooming (it just takes a data from a part of the sensor for further steps)
- lens disortion correction (you can see, that lines that are straight on JPG might be not straight on the RAW)
- colors modifications (contrast, white balance and so on).

So - if you RAW shows more than JPG you have to use optical zoom or stand closer to the object...
