I've tried contacting the author using the contact details on the DNG4PS-2 web page above, but am still waiting for a response.

to be plenty of mac folks that want to use your software.

spebbep, good news. You are first who can compile dng4ps2 on Mac. I see no problem with publishing binaries and sources.

I've worked a bit on the Makefile and posted a first version on spebbe - DNG4PS-2 Mac OS X build. I'll post binaries on that page later, once I've worked out some problems I'm having with building wxWidgets as a static universal (ppc+x86) library. Anyone else got this to work?

mmmkay... i can't seem to get universal builds to work right now... i've uploaded preliminary intel binaries to spebbe - DNG4PS-2 Mac OS X build and will try to get back to getting the universal builds to work once the frustration wears off  ::)

hi,

i was able to build a ppc binary following your instructions
(i only changed the gcc optimization level in the Makefile
from -O4 to -O2 to be on the safe side) and it also runs fine,
but sadly the resulting dng files do not seem to be ok - are
they ok for your x86 build? the ppc ones will not get recognized
by acr or dcraw and also exiftool cant read the exif info of
those files ... can it be, that dng4ps2 eventually is not fully
big endian clean (ppc is big endian while x86 is little endian)?

anyone having any idea how to fix this? i can provide some
sample raw and ppc-mac converted files for analysis

just a little update: versions used - mac-os-x 10.4.11 ppc,
xcode 2.5, wxwidgets, boost and gettext fresh from macports ...
