Well I got my S3 IS back from my friend.
I loaded the two files on a nice new format SD card.
I put the card in the camera. Turn the camera on play. Go to Update the firmware selection. The selection is to update from 1.0 to 1.0.1.0. I select the new ver. 1.0.1.0 and I ok it. the blue light blinks maybe a 1/2 sec then I get a screen saying updated to CHDK ............ built Aug 14 2007 9-30-06 S3....., this blinks for just about 1 sec and then nothing else happens??? I do now see a battery indicator top center. I can not find any of the new settings?
? What am I doing wrong?
