Two years later...

I also tested this out with my PowerShot A4000 IS, and got the same values you did. Additionally, for ISO 1600 I got 795.

Happy to update the spreadsheet, but did you want to?

Go ahead and update it.  My S3 is working fine, but doesn't give much opportunity to test for the capabilities the new models have!
My daughter and I are driving south this weekend to try to mountain-bike up the one trail open to bikes in the Mount Saint Helens blast zone.  My S3 is coming along in the hope I can see though my sweat and stop shaking long enough for a few shots.

OK, done.

I did a few things:

  • Split out Av, Tv, and Sv into their own sheets.
  • Added a column to Tv showing the actual shutter speeds, in addition to the rounded-off ones
  • Modified some of the rounded-off values to be more rounded off, including using the standard speeds found on cameras (like 1/15 instead of 1/16).
  • Cleaned up some formatting
  • Added a notes sheet

Hope it's useful.
John
