Can't Get Firmware Version on new SX40

I've gone through all the variations I could find but still can't get my new SX40 HS to divulge the Firmware Version.  So, with the proper files loaded on the SD card what buttons should I be pusing to get the Firmware Version to dispaly?  Thanks

However,  I'd recommend you skip all that and go straight here :

Some newer cameras do not display firmware like the older ones.

And that did it, all loaded now.  Now, to the manual!!
