Hi waterwingz,
"The stuff in your camera will be fine. Some people have trouble generating the required bad_pixel.bin file on their cameras ( search the forum for "bad_pixel.bin"). The new dev trunk supports a newer versionof DNG that does not need the bad pixel file if you get stuck on that step."
When searching about "In Camera DNG Color Correction?" found "How can I convert from CRW to DNG?
The automatic DNG conversion is just a tad slower than ordinary RAW shooting, but you're familiar with the delay if you use CHDK for RAW. CHDK DNG works fine in ACR and other applications I've used....CHDK SETUP DNG CONVERSION IN-CAMERA
. Ensure badpixel.bin is in CHDK folder on SD card
. In RAW PARAMETERS, ensure SAVE RAW is checked
. set BadPixelRemoval to 'RAWconv' or 'DNGconv'
. check DNG FORMAT
. check 'DNG' FILE EXTENSION (newer CHDK)
. check MISC STUFF 'Show DNG with USB' [S5]
Hope it 's helpful. Not sure it's entirely up to date with latest versions of CHDK. "

I was one having problems so what version has "DNG that does not need the bad pixel file"?
Thanks again
