Hi,
I just traveled to La Paz (12,000ft) and found that my ELPH 300 stopped working.  In record mode the screen was blank (but graphics appeared) and images were blank (i.e. 0).  Play mode was fine.  I checked that it was not CHDK related.  In a couple of days it returned to normal (still in La Paz).  Has anyone seen this?  Could the altitude affect the camera this way?  I must say that I didn't work very well for the first few days in La Paz either.

A number of people have sent other CHDK cameras up to much higher altitudes (~100k ft) on balloons without apparent problems.
