I am looking for a Motion detection script that works with the SX20IS. I have tried a few and they either crashed or worked very slowly. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I can vouch that the above mentioned MDFB-080914-VideoButtonModels.bas works on my SX10IS at least, in fact it was the only one I kept after trying several.

Hi all! First time poster - 2 month lurker.  Now that that's out of the way, does anyone have a link to a working MD script for the SX20?

I was very interested in CHDK and it's potential, so I bought an a530 on ebay for ten bucks.  I beat the snot out of that great little camera for a month and even wrote my own HDR script. I've attached my best photo using the stock mdfb-080914 script. I wanted more, so I watched ebay and got an SX20 at a good price.

Tonight I had a storm roll through, and wanted to try out my "new" SX20.  The script I'd used on the a530 failed, saying I needed to use one made for a camera with a video button.  I wasted half the storm looking for that.  The best I could find was somewhere I could only cut and paste it from.  After I did that and got set up for the tail end of the storm, my cut-and-paste script said "parse error" and exited immediately.

Are there any good motion detection scripts that will work on this camera?  Can someone please point me to a link?

You might have to tune the sensitivity on some for your SX20 - they are not setup for any particular camera AFAIK.

Thanks! I'll experiment with some of those while I wait for the next storm.  I'd like to get the mdfb-080914 script running, because I had that one pretty much figured out.
