Hi all

Last Xmas I received this camera, but I don't know what to do with the dump file.
I would like to load chdk into the camera to use the intervalometer scripts.

Per the wiki page for the A4000IS , CHDK is not yet available for this camera.

Ok, then I misunderstood the meaning of "dump". I thought it was something you could start using, as a test.

Sorry - I should have been more clear.  The dump is just a copy of the camera's ROM memory.  Its used to modify CHDK source code to work with a camera.   Getting it is just step one of many needed to port CHDK to a camera.

Only for information. I tried CHDK alpha for A4000 IS with firmware 1.01b, result is that on my camera Canon A4000 IS with firmware 1.01a doesn't go :/

I must waiting for next days, months , years ?

There is a port specific for a400 1.01a, but it is partially tested.
If you want to test it, and promise to give feedback I'll send you a link with a compiled version.
