Photo Transfer to Computer - 'Your' Workflow?

I just want to see if there is a more convenient way of transferring photos to my PC....

In my G12 (bootable DHDK) when ready to transfer photos to my PC - I swap the partitions, unlock my SD card and pop my SD card in a reader and import into Lightroom, yadda yadda

Then I use the 'sdminste.exe' to again swap the partitions, lock the SD card and then I'm good to go.

Is there an easier way using the camera's USB cable?

Do you guys do this photo transfer process differently?

Much thanks!

ptpCamGui is good way via USB cable.

You can select a destination for the download. The program checks your DCIM folder at (newest) pictures, creates monthly subdirectories on your PC and if you want it rotates the images.
