Hello,
I have tried to install CHDK for my new Canon Ixus 115 HS. I have downloaded versions of it here:
https://www.box.com/shared/28fqgydhydgd6k1p35atAnd also tried the tricks mentioned here.
http://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=6751.270.There is no file to download for Ixus 115 HS, but I tried downloading a file for Ixus 100 and then replacing diskboot.bin and ps2.fi files with the ones I got at
https://www.box.com/shared/28fqgydhydgd6k1p35at .
I also tried to change the bootsector according to the advice at the above discussion. Nothing seems to help. After making the (2 GB) card bootable with the Cardtricks-program and turning the card into lock-position, the camera won't react in any way when I try to boot. After trying to boot from the card I also have to remove the battery and re-insert it to make the camera work normally. Maybe the boot attempts make the built-in OS confused and removing the battery cleans the memory...
Is the reason that there actually isn't a functioning CHDK for the Ixus 115 HS-model?
I've also tried the button-combination SET+Zoom In (SET+Play), and it only gives a digital clock-animation on the screen.
I managed to use CHDK on my former Canon a 560, and installing wasn't a problem then... Could you help me to install CHDK, if it's even possible?
