Recently bought Powershot a2300. I would like to help with porting, but am not a programmer. So, if somene would like to instruct me what to do, i can do testing or whatever is needed to help.

p.s.: sorry for my english it's not my native language.

Ok. Seems like it went good. What i've done:
1). added SCRIPT string with EOScard.exe
2). created script.req with "for DC_scriptdisk" on card
3). created extend.m with copypasted universal dumper from http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/Canon_Basic/Scripts/Dumper
4). booted in view mode with cd card in camera. pressed "func. set"
5). zipped Primary.bin, Cbdumper.log and some random picture and uploaded here: http://dropcanvas.com/08ni4

I'm ready for further instructions. :)

Now we have a prealpha version for a2300 100e, flm is testing it.
If there is any other beta tester available for a2300, send me your e-mail address via private message.

I have the 100e firmware, and installed the compiled pre alpha from nafraf.
The chdk works, I can run some scripts and override some parameters.

The osd is a little bit buggy, and the remote is not yet implemented, otherwise, awesome job !!

That's strange. I'm on ver. 100e myself, but unable to run any lua script. Camera always crashes.

Another question - do you have ability to select other languages apart from chinese and english in your camera's settings (not chdk, but camera ui)?
