Just uploaded a dump from my new Powershot A1200.

Used "Original Basic Dumper".

Anyone working on a port for this camera?

Hi,
I am new to CHDK development. For the past few days I have been reading all possible info I could find regarding adding support for a new camera. Still in the process of understanding all the available info, might take a while.
In the meantime (as an exercise) I tried to dump the firmware of my new A1200. Took me a few days but finally seem to have succeeded via cbdumper.
To check if I had a valid dump I did a binary filecompare with the already available dump from user praveen_sb.
The filecompare shows differences starting from offset 00790060 onwards, so most of the dump is identical.

Canon Powershot A1200
P-ID: 322B   PAL D
Firmware Ver GM1.00A (1.0.0.0)
Adj Ver 005.006

Don't have access to IDA Pro, so am stuck at the moment.
Not sure if I could be of any help if I had access to IDA anyway.

The camera stores some settings & user data in the flash, that causes differences at the dump's end.
