edit: actually maybe this should be deleted if the purpose of this thread is the sameCamera as multimedia player - it IS possible!

Right now if I insert headphones in the AV port the camera sends audio to one channel and video to the other which I hear :D as a buzz
maybe the CHDK could allow to stop the LCD from turning off, stop sending the video to the AV channel and maybe even send audio to the video channel of the AV so that the sound could be heard in both headphones
