I checked if the card was bootable, using the HxD GUI method. The card is bootable.

Actually, its not.  The card is formatted FAT32 so the bootable string needs to be at offset 0x1E0. For FAT16 the position is 0x40.  This card appears to have the string at 0x5C ?????

Have you tried using the latest version of EOScard ?  http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/EOScard

Otherwise, you need to more closely follow step 4 of the HxD GUI method :
"Go to the right part at the level of 00001E0 and change the letters "any key " to "BOOTDISK"

That BOOTDISK signature appears to be in a strange position. Read the start of this section: http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/Bootable_SD_card#A_Deep_Dive_into_the_Boot_Process

I used EOScard 1.2 to make it bootable, it said succesful, but that maybe where the fault is...
When you used EOScard,  was it setup exactly like the image here :

Your posted hex dump shows spaces at 0x1CO where the string BOOTDISK should be.  Was the word BOOTDISK in the second text box as shown in the image ?

I couldn't get it to work with using the EOScard program. I did a clean format and edited by hand with the HEX program and it works now.

I'm a happy man because now the remote shutter works and when you are digiscoping that's what it's all about.

thanx!!!!
