Hi all, this is my first post here

I'm trying to start CHDK on my G12 following the classic method explained here http://vimeo.com/29550265# but it's seems not working.
I'm tryed all the version, both full and basic, from there:

and from there

but all the versions stoped and blocked the camera with black screen and no button worked! The only way to fix the camera is to pull out the battery.

So far I'm not able to start the firmware on the Trascendent SDHC class 10 16gb card, while it's work on a Samsung SDHC class 6 8gb.
Just to be honest on the Samsung card the last version of CHDK (.g) doesn't work.

You really should determine the firmware version of your G12 first. There is no need to try all those downloads - only the ones written specifically for your firmware version will work. To get your firmware version, try this :

Thanx for the replay

I tried Acid test wich suggest me the fw 100.g. So I decided to format the memory card with the camera tool, and after I installed the CHDK firmware downloaded with Acid.
The problem is changed now: when I launch the chdk fw it appear a red alert with the name of the firmware for less than one second and after it disappear.

That's normal. Congratulations, you have successfully loaded CHDK.

Press the "PRINT" button to activate the CHDK menus and start using the new features.
