Ok, now you're probably like this:
I own a Powershot A630, and I would like to be able to use it with its lens removed. I am an amateur astronomer and I would like to use my telescope as the main lens (digiscoping, prime focus photography)
My problem: when I remove the lens, I get the "lens error, restart camera" error and I can't do anything.
Would it be possible to disable this error and use the camera anyway?
I compiled the last CHDK firmware and tried to look for this error in the sourcecode with no luck. My biggest fear is this error is hardcoded into the camera and CHDK can't do anything about it.
Any ideas?
